About

Jennifer the OT

Welcome! I am Jennifer Mauritz and I go by she/her pronouns.

I am a licensed occupational therapist in British Columbia and Germany. I have worked as an occupational therapist for over 15 years and have called Vancouver home for the past 8 years.

The focus of my work is on supporting individuals with invisible health conditions such as myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), long COVID (PACS), fibromyalgia (FM), persistent pain and other energy-limiting chronic illness (ELCI).

I am passionate about empowering people to do, feel, be things they did not think were an option. In my work I focus on walking alongside people with invisible illness, supporting them in their innate creativity to conquer challenges, guiding them to overcome obstacles and maintain meaningful activities.
